Monoprint Workshops
What is it?
Monoprinting is a process where one uses a plate which is inked up with a roller (with water soluble or oil based inks). Once the plate has been inked there are two different monoprint methods.I am able to teach the second method, where you need an inked plate and a piece of paper placed directly ontop of it, allowing the ink to touch the paper. An image is drawn or traced ontop of the paper which transfers the ink onto the reverse side of the paper, creating a textured image.
