Cans | Screenprint Series

Illustrations of the cans I saw on the pavement while walking during the 2021 Lockdown pandemic. I would like to continue to add to this series, hopefully accumulating squashed can illustrations from other countries when I travel. Rendering rubbish into art is an old cliché but with this series I eventually want it to be so large it might emphasise and visualise consumption and waste- perhaps in future moving the prints onto recycled newspapers/ cereal boxes/ envelopes.
